Pricing questions, answered
How are credits charged?
Each recording is charged per started minute of its length: Audio Only costs 1 credit per minute and Illustrated Notes cost 3 credits per minute. A 1 minute 15 second video therefore counts as 2 minutes. The estimate is shown before you generate, and credits are charged once the file has been checked.
How much can a plan cover?
Monthly credits: Starter 500, Pro 1,500, Max 3,500. Starter’s monthly grant covers about 500 minutes of Audio Only or 166 minutes of Illustrated Notes.
What is the difference between a subscription and a one-time credit pack?
Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly and grant credits every month. One-time packs do not renew and do not change your membership.
Do credits expire or roll over?
Subscription credits expire 30 days after each monthly grant and do not roll over. Yearly billing still grants credits monthly. Sign-up bonus credits expire 30 days after they are granted.
Are credits returned when processing fails?
If no transcript is produced, all credits for that recording are returned. If an Illustrated Notes recording gets a transcript but its frames or notes fail, the illustrated part is returned and you keep the transcript. If notes fail for an Audio Only recording, you keep the transcript and can retry the notes at no charge.
How long are my files kept?
Uploaded media is kept for 30 days. Transcripts and notes stay in your account until you delete them. Deleting a recording does not return its credits.
Can I use transcripts and notes commercially?
Under the Terms, you may use your transcripts and notes for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You must have the right to upload and process the recording and follow the Acceptable Use Policy. AI output can contain mistakes; review it before you publish or rely on it.
Do subscriptions renew automatically, and how do I cancel?
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel from Settings → Billing to stop the next renewal. Your membership remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
What if my payment is pending, my credits are missing, or I need a refund?
If payment is pending or credits have not appeared, check the order status and refresh your balance without paying again. If the status stays unchanged, contact support through the Contact page with your order ID, account email and payment time. Never send card details. Refund requests are reviewed under the Refund Policy and applicable law; approved refunds may remove the related credits.
